Context and objectives

In the frame of an hazard study, the consequence assessment of a chemcial products storage fire must be done. One of the main effect expected concerns the heat raidtion from the burning areas. 

Our success

The heat radiation from the storage fires has been modeled with the dedicated software Fluidyn-PANFIRE. The simulation includes all the burning areas inside the building and takes ito acocunt the fire proof walls and panels. By comparison of the regulatory threshold values, the thermal damage areas of the fire has been drawn.
