the Air Pollution Modeling, three types of consultancy are
undertaken

– General air quality modeling for urban areas.

permanent/chronic dispersion of pollutants in the air due to
existing industries or industrial expansion etc.

Air quality
modeling:
Using in house
developed fluidyn
- PANACHE family
of environmental software, fluidyn

we undertake 3D simulation of general air quality in various
weather conditions. For the benefit of
highway and environmental engineers, our study assesses,
the impact of any changes in the existing infrastructure and
predicts the effects of pollution due to upcoming
projects.
Our
study takes into account:
- Obstacles and high buildings;
- The influence of the vegetation and nature of
the terrain on dispersion;
- Effects of the solar radiation and the ambient
atmospheric conditions through a user-friendly interface.
- Low wind velocities by including the natural
convection in the urban canopy.
- Production cycles of tropospheric ozone in the
cities and their suburbs
- Evaluation of emissions of gaseous pollutants (Nox,
CO, HC, etc.) or particulate matter (PM10, Pb, etc.) emitted
by vehicles starting from the available traffic data on
different highways and roads, for a standard fleet of
vehicles.

impact assessment:
Environmental
impact assessment consultancy, pertains to the atmospheric
dispersion of industrial emissions in the air, released from
punctual or continuous sources in the industrial sites. Such
studies are undertaken using our software product fluidyn PANACHE-PANEIA.

to probabilistic methods such as the Gaussian method, Transoft
uses a 3D deterministic approach to analyse the variation

EMERGENCY
PLANNING AND RESPONSE:
Under this head of
consultancy, we analyse the consequence of releases and fire in
process industry due to accidents. The release may occur from
rupture or leak in pressurized or non-pressurized tanks, pipes,
valves, joints, etc. This study is done using our software
