fluidyn MP NS


fluidyn MP NS solves Navier-Stokes equation for generalized flow field for all kinds of flow, incompressible or compressible, viscous or invisicid, laminar or turbulent etc. The geometry is generated from the CAD package (fluidyn CAD) and the mesh generation is done using fluidyn GEN.

The interactive graphic user interface guides the user for
  • Importing mesh
  • Specifying boundary conditions
  • Selecting physical models and defining flow configuration.
  • Initialising the computational domain and set up solution control
  • Running the solver
 


User programmability

       Supports user programming of following :

  • momentum, enthalpy and turbulence sources

  • chemical species

  • turbulence model parameters

  • effective viscosity and length scale

  • wall functions for momentum, heat and mass transfer

  • molecular viscosity(including non-Newtonian flow)

  • equation of state

  • specific heat

  • temperature-enthalpy relation

  • thermal conductivity

  • boundary conditions

  • initial conditions

  • post processing

  • time step for transient calculations
