fluidyn PANFIRE

PANFIRE is a software module or service for numerical simulation of environmental accidents, such as the combustion of solid products storages and release of gases and liquids.

PANFIRE calculates the heat fluxes generated by the combustion of the stored products, as well as from the concentrations of combustible products (CO, CO2 ..) according to the selected weather conditions.

PANFIRE also makes it possible to simulate the consequences of an accidental release of liquid or toxic inflammable products. The results of simulation (heat fluxes and concentrations) are presented in 3D and 2D graphic form. The dangers are quantified by the zones at risk and the threshold toxicity values. The graphs, isocontours or animations are easily prepared to define toxic or dangerous surfaces according to limits' recommended such as the IDLH, LC50 as well as the pressures and heat fluxes emitted by the fire.

Example of heat flux emitted by a stock of burning wood

Applications:

  • THREE-DIMENSIONAL SOFTWARE FOR THE EVALUATION OF THE RISKS DUE TO COMBUSTION OF SOLIDS AND LEAKAGES OF GAS AND LIQUIDS
